【Who is FUMIO SAKAMOTO?】

阪本文男：1960〜80年代に活躍した日本の画家。
1935 年 2 月生まれ。1958 年東京藝術大学美術学部絵画科油絵部卒業。1963年よりモダンアート協会会員。1967 年国際青年美術家展にて「ヘルマフィロディトス－青い帯」がストラレム優秀賞第一席を受賞。1970 年代初頭より水色を背景に、紙、乾いた花や果物などを配した独自の画風を展開し、「アリスの遊び」「バラの座」そして代表作となった「余白の系」などの連作を発表。1986 年 2月、51歳の若さで此の世を後にする。

—— Who is FUMIO SAKAMOTO?

A Japanese artist active from the 1960s to the 1980s.
Born in February 1935, Sakamoto graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts in 1958 with a degree in oil painting, and became a member of the Modern Art Society in 1963.In February 1986, at the age of 51, he passed away.
